SAFEGUARD - Safeguarding European wild pollinators (2022-2025)
Safeguard will establish empirical research for a systematic multiscale assessment of multiple pressures on pollinators and the context-dependent effectiveness of interventions. Working with our stakeholders, we will provide an improved understanding of the diverse values of European pollinators, and develop
and test new approaches using multiple interventions to benefit pollinators, from field to landscape scales across agricultural, natural, and urban systems. The project is funded through the H2020 framework (EU).
OLEO.BEE - Effects of the expansion of mass-flowering crops on wild pollinators (2020-2021)
The project aims to use a species-habitat network approach to examine the effect of the expansion of sunflower cultivation across agricultural landscapes on the specialization of wild pollinators. A second aim is to link insect pollination to multiple parameters of yield quality. The project is funded by the Veneto Region (FSE).
T.I.Ge.S.Vi - Innovative soil management in vineyards and impact on biodiversity and soil fertility (2020-2022)
This project aims to identify innovative groundcover management practices to increase soil fertility, the content and stability of organic matter, as well as to promote plant and animal diversity and the consequent biological control of pests. The project is funded by the Veneto Region (PSR).
