BICE - Global change, Biotic Interactions, and plant invasions in Cold Environments (2018-2020)
The ambition of the project is to examine simultaneously causes and consequences of invasive exotic plants under a warming climate. Such an approach linking biotic interactions and global change to plant invasions in dynamic nature is unprecedented, providing crucial information for understanding the future of Alpine biodiversity under different global change scenarios. The project is funded by the University of Padova (STARS grant).
OLEO.BEE - Effects of the expansion of mass-flowering crops on wild pollinators (2020-2021)
The project aims to use a species-habitat network approach to examine the effect of the expansion of sunflower cultivation across agricultural landscapes on the specialization of wild pollinators. A second aim is to link insect pollination to multiple parameters of yield quality. The project is funded by the Veneto Region (FSE).
T.I.Ge.S.Vi - Innovative soil management in vineyards and impact on biodiversity and soil fertility (2020-2022)
